About One Life Counseling
One Life Counseling is the premier nonprofit counseling center in the San Francisco Bay Area serving San Mateo and San Francisco counties. We focus on recruiting the most outstanding peer counselors and therapists, and provide an unparalleled opportunity to learn how to build and manage a private practice. There are also many additional opportunities, such as school-based and community-based counseling experience. One Life has over 100 therapists who provide counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups. We also have a group of peer counselors who provide peer support for individuals, families, and group support in community-based settings. We believe mental health services should be easily accessible, readily available, and comfortable. We make every effort to include everyone. Cultural humility is also a cornerstone to our agency.
