Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Principal Data Products Engineer to fill an open position with one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to bridge business insight and technical expertise by designing and implementing innovative data solutions that drive automation and efficiency across multiple business areas. You’ll analyze Payments and Treasury Management data, collaborate with both IT and business teams, and help deliver actionable insights that create tangible value. This role combines technical mastery with strategic problem-solving at a senior level.

Responsibilities

Analyze commercial data (Payments, entitlements) to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Design and implement data solutions that enable cross‑functional use of data products.

Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to gather and translate requirements.

Write optimized SQL queries across Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server, perform data validation, reconciliation testing, and interpret architecture diagrams to identify improvements.

The Ideal Candidate

10+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence.

Strong understanding of Payments and Treasury Management products.

Expertise in SQL and experience with Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.

Experience with architecture documentation and gap analysis.

Knowledge of data testing, validation, and reconciliation processes.

Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Experience with large‑scale migration projects and data engineering initiatives.
