Accounts Receivable Specialist - TikTok Shop - US Local Logistics Settlement
TikTok Shop Supply Chain & Logistics team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop’s transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies. A settlement center will be set up under the business center to unify the settlement of e-commerce logistics, be responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of e-commerce logistics AP and AR settlements, and help the rapid growth of front-end business and the compliance control of settlement process.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join the US local logistics Settlement Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and recovering merchants’ logistics-related receivables, ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of accounts receivable. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to drive process standardization, automation, and receivables governance, contributing to efficient cash flow management and supporting the platform’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Management & Reconciliation
Review, reconcile, and validate merchant logistics fee invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare regular AR analysis reports, monitor aging, and identify high-risk accounts.
Collections & Dispute Resolution
Track merchant payment progress and establish cross-functional mechanisms to improve collection efficiency.
Handle merchant billing disputes and collaborate with Operations, Legal, and Risk teams to develop solutions.
Process Optimization & Automation
Participate in the standardization and systemization of AR processes, including invoicing, adjustments, and write-offs.
Support the development of AR dashboards to enhance data transparency and operational efficiency.
Risk Control & Governance
Contribute to bad debt management and negative balance resolution strategies.
Support cross-functional projects focused on receivables recovery and risk mitigation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Maintain effective communication with Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to align AR management with company goals.
Provide financial insights in settlement-related cross-functional projects.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, settlement, or financial operations; experience in cross-border e-commerce or logistics is a plus.
Strong understanding of AR management, aging analysis, adjustments, and write-off processes, with proven problem-solving and risk identification skills.
Proficient in data analysis and system operations; ERP or AR management system experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CPA/ACCA, or experience in financial analysis.
Experience in cross-functional project management and process improvement.
Familiarity with North American merchant settlement practices and logistics-related receivables processes.
