Human Resources Business Partner
– Choice Hotels International
The HR Business Partner provides strategic HR leadership and partnership to assigned internal client groups, supporting the implementation of people practices aligned with Choice’s Values & Performance Principles. This role drives initiatives across associate relations, performance management, talent acquisition, organizational development, and belonging, ensuring high‑performing, inclusive environments.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned client groups, delivering HR programs and resolving routine and non‑standard issues
Champion Choice’s Coaching for Performance and Growth performance management processes.
Support leaders through workforce planning and organizational design.
Coach leaders to cultivate a workplace aligned with our Leadership Principles, fostering engagement, belonging, recognition, and retention.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition on hiring processes.
Consult and guide leaders on associate relations matters, ensuring balanced and compliant resolutions in compliance with Choice policies and processes.
Lead and continuously enhance onboarding strategies to ensure a seamless, engaging, and inclusive experience for new hires.
Champion strategic change and organizational development programs and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience in a corporate HR environment preferred.
Prior experience in employee relations and strategic HR support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Strong business acumen, ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to influence and resolve complex HR issues.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Commitment to customer service and organizational excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
HR certification preferred.
