What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead a team of project professionals through planning, field investigations, remediation efforts, and final reporting
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all requirements are met according to contract specifications
Develop technical approaches and cost proposals in response to client requests for proposals
Manage project scopes of work, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution
Coordinate subcontracting activities and oversee staff to ensure quality and adherence to project goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum 10 years of project management experience in successfully managing multiple projects
Strong technical background in hazardous waste management, environmental compliance, or military munitions response
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrology, Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Professional licensure (e.g., PE, PG) or the ability to obtain it within three years
OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training with current refresher
Experience working with federal government clients
Strong working relationships with federal clients and agencies
Prior experience leading proposal/capture efforts for federal agencies
