Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a talented
Front Office Support Engineer
to join our Financial Trade team to serve our
Hedge fund client . The Ideal candidate will be a proactive, analytical engineer with strong SQL and Unix/Linux skills, able to ensure trading system stability and collaborate effectively across global teams.
Role and Responsibilities As a Front Office Support Engineer based in New York, you’ll be the first line of defense for our client's trading systems during US market hours. You’ll work closely with global teams to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our production environment. This is a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to the full trading lifecycle, collaborate with top-tier engineers and quants, and grow into project-based responsibilities over time.
Incident Management: Analyze, document, and resolve production incidents; coordinate with impacted teams across time zones.
Procedure Development: Draft and implement operational procedures in collaboration with the Paris support team.
Continuous Improvement: Enhance monitoring, alerting, and system reliability.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Trading, Portfolio Management, Market Data, and Data Operations.
Production Deployment: Support application rollouts and maintain test environments.
Tooling & Automation: Contribute to the evolution of internal tools and propose technical improvements.

Qualifications
Engineering degree (Master’s level or equivalent)
2–3 years of experience in production support, in a hedge fund or investment bank
Fluent English (spoken and written), French is a plus
Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux
Ability to work under pressure in a front-office environment
Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and adaptability
Excellent communication skills to bridge teams across Paris, New York, and Asia
Nice to Have
Experience with Python
Familiarity with ITIL methodology
Exposure to cross-asset trading systems
The salary range for this role is US$80,000 - US$120,000
