Job Description Summary
The Executive – Sustainable Steam Solutions Engineering role is responsible for leading all engineering activities across GE Vernova’s Steam Turbine portfolio — including new unit design and delivery, services/aftermarket engineering, and new product introduction (NPI) — while also driving the development of industry-leading decarbonization solutions, such as carbon capture and low‑carbon system integration technologies.
This leader drives technical excellence, cost and schedule performance, and innovation to deliver high‑quality, on‑time, and cost‑effective solutions across the entire lifecycle of steam turbine products, while spearheading next‑generation decarbonization initiatives. The role partners closely with product management, manufacturing, field service, R&D, and suppliers to support the installed base, advance system integration, and develop new low‑carbon technologies to meet the world’s energy transition needs.

Essential Responsibilities Strategy & Technology Leadership
Define and execute engineering roadmaps for steam turbine new units, services, and new product introduction, as well as decarbonization solutions.
Develop technology strategies to improve turbine efficiency, reliability, and cost, while enabling integration with carbon capture and other low‑carbon systems.
Champion adoption of advanced practices such as Model‑Based Engineering 3.0 and AI‑enabled workflows to improve quality and reduce cycle time.
Execution – Steam Turbines
Lead engineering execution for new-build steam turbine projects from concept through manufacturing, testing, and installation.
Oversee engineering support for the installed fleet, including upgrades, retrofits, reliability improvements, and field issue resolution.
Drive lessons learned from field experience back into design standards, digital twins, and next‑generation product designs.
Execution – Decarbonization Solutions
Lead engineering development and readiness of carbon capture and related decarbonization technologies for commercial deployment.
Partner with customers, suppliers, and R&D organizations to co‑develop, pilot, and validate new low‑carbon solutions.

Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering‑related discipline
At least 10 years of experience within Gas Power discipline
At least 5 years of people leadership experience
