Data Scientist / Data Analyst
Our client, a U.S. based renewable energy manufacturer of solar panels and batteries, is seeking a Data Scientist/Data Analyst to help guide digital transformation projects to enhance business processes, data quality and governance reporting to the SVP, Finance and Technology. Great growth opportunity for a data professional passionate about invigorating American manufacturing and renewable energy solutions.
Position is based at the company’s headquarters in Austin, TX. Local candidates only.

Base Pay Range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Additional Compensation Types Annual Bonus and RSUs
Key Responsibilities
Help define and implement a modern data strategy aligned with the firm’s business goals.
Help identify and assess emerging technologies, data sources, and analytics methodologies to enhance business processes, data quality, and governance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, or another quantitative discipline. Master’s preferred.
Minimum three years of experience working in a data analytics role.
Fluency in Python and SQL.
Proficiency with data visualization and analytics (PowerBI and/or Tableau). Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP and Palantir Foundry is also a plus.
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance is preferred.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
