This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded On‑Site Program Manager to lead project planning and scheduling, governance and compliance, stakeholder engagement, and financial management for the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. The Program Manager will manage and coordinate program scope, goals, and deliverables by engaging with program managers, functional area managers (FAMs), and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the IT program that aligns with USSPACECOM goals and objectives

Defining program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with NIWC Pacific FAMs and stakeholders

Establishing governance frameworks to ensure the program adheres to USSPACECOM policies, regulations, and security protocols

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards, including cybersecurity requirements

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior USSPACECOM officials, project managers, and external partners

Facilitating regular communication and reporting to keep stakeholders informed and engaged

Developing and managing the program budget, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively

Monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed to stay within budget

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the program to ensure successful outcomes

Implementing a robust issue management process to address and resolve problems quickly

Tracking program performance against established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Preparing and presenting regular status reports and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

5 years of experience as On‑site Program Manager supporting a DoD program of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35‑40 personnel)

Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Management experience in an enterprise‑level (minimum of 3,000 users) DoD C4I/IT environment

Bachelor‑s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field and at least 15 years of experience managing a program of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35‑40 personnel)

Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)

Desired Skills

Excellent communication skills, ability to foster collaborative work environments; experience with methodologies such as Extreme Programming, Agile SCRUM, etc.

Experience managing enterprise‑level IT programs with portfolio of projects of similar size and scope ($40M-50M, 35‑40 personnel) in DoD, USAF or USSF desirable

Proficiency with ITIL or similar management (e.g. Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT))

Clearance Information SRC is a contractor for the U.S. government. This position will require U.S. citizenship as well as a U.S. government security clearance at the top secret / SCI level.

Travel Requirements May require up to 10% travel.
