Software Developer II
A premier software, research, and consulting firm in the field of industrial‑organizational psychology, PDRI designs, develops and implements human resource solutions that incorporate the most recent advances in the behavioral sciences and adhere to the highest principles of professional practice. PDRI is seeking a talented, motivated, senior‑level software developer to join our IT Services department. This developer will be responsible for development, maintenance, and testing of microservices built on the MEAN stack. The Developer is responsible for development, maintenance and testing of application logic for PDRI development projects. May be required to develop software components, specifications and design documents.
Principal Accountabilities
Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high quality software
Solve complex technical challenges
Learn and apply new technologies on a regular basis
Manage and maintain corporate software libraries
Review defects and problems as assigned, diagnose and fix them in a timely manner
Consult with all departments regarding application design and usage
Communicate complex technical issues at different levels
Provide technical mentoring to peers
Must be able to work in a team and individually, demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, learn quickly, solve problems and be professional
Experience Requirements Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
3-5 years of experience designing and developing web-based solutions
Experience with the MEAN stack
Experience developing RESTful webservices
Preferred
Experience with microservice‑based architecture
Experience building secure systems
