Job Summary
The Clinical Research Associate Manager at Mass General Brigham will provide first‑line supervision to a minimum of 4–6 full‑time staff, oversee day‑to‑day operations of the research team, maintain data management responsibilities, and ensure compliance with clinical research protocols. This hybrid role combines supervisory duties, data management, and collaboration with sponsors and investigators. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide first‑line supervision to 4–6 FTE research staff and manage staff productivity and quality of work. Facilitate new hire onboarding, correct action, and performance evaluation processes for research staff. Train new staff and assess continuing education needs. Assist staff with task prioritization for project assignments and maintain meeting documentation. Work with sponsors to resolve monitoring issues and resolve data discrepancies. Assist with pre‑activation activities including pre‑site qualification visits, SIVs, and facility tours. Proctor meetings and supply meeting materials, developing group‑specific tools. Verify patient eligibility via chart abstraction and analysis of case data, and collect and interpret data necessary for enrollment. Implement and monitor procedures to ensure protocol compliance, and manage data collection via chart abstraction. Prepare Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions of protocol revisions, safety reports, and annual progress reports. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred. Three to five years of research related experience required; supervisory experience 1–2 years preferred. Demonstrated time management, organization, and ability to work independently with initiative. Strong written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of current clinical research trends. Exceptional project management skills and ability to design, prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical research programs. Benefits
