Base pay range $100,000.00 / yr – $200,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients in various family law matters including but not limited to divorce, custody disputes, child support, alimony, and property division.

Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence.

Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective case strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of changes in family law and advise clients accordingly.

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure excellent client service.

Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts through networking, relationship building with potential clients, and participation in community and professional organizations.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice law in the state.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in family law with a focus on divorce and custody cases.

Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.

Excellent legal research and writing skills.

Proven track record of effectively representing clients in court and achieving successful outcomes.

Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines and priorities.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a favorable manner for clients.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Strong commitment to client service and to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
