Responsibilities
Drive enterprise optimization by introducing capabilities across all functions for the domain, using in‑depth knowledge and expert skills.
Translate business needs into architectural solutions that satisfy performance, reliability, and security expectations.
Apply enterprise roadmaps, principles, standards, and practices to advance domain strategies and execution.
Lead the extension and enhancement of domain architecture strategies, standards, and guidelines.
Collaborate on the creation, design, engineering, and implementation of assets to improve solution quality.
Support peer reviews and represent the architecture domain in briefings to the Architecture Review Board.
Research emerging domain trends and evaluate vendor solutions for domain‑specific tooling.
Develop and enhance domain‑related architecture methods, tools, and communications.
Provide input to project, product, and enterprise technology roadmaps and report on architecture domain progress.
Perform domain assessments for new or proposed projects to support IT strategy and resource estimation.
Essential Functions (Percent of Time)
25% – Prepare domain architecture viewpoints and models, perform advanced modeling and analysis, and develop reusable domain patterns.
25% – Collaborate on asset creation, design, and implementation; represent domain in briefings.
15% – Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve technical limitations.
10% – Research emerging domain trends.
10% – Participate in vendor evaluation and selection; represent the domain in RFIs/RFPs.
10% – Develop domain methods and tools; align with other architecture domains and SDLC disciplines.
5% – Lead domain assessment for projects, provide input to roadmaps, and report on progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
6+ years of experience leading architecture initiatives for AI projects/products across 2–3 different domains.
Proficiency in designing AI solutions using AWS services and the technology stack.
Strong ability to motivate and influence teams to meet project objectives.
Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders to develop high‑quality solutions.
Experience coaching, delegating, and developing team members.
Proficient in managing cross‑domain architecture solutions and impacts.
Expertise with domain‑related architecture frameworks, methods, and tools.
Advanced analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
