Purpose

The primary purpose of the Manager, HMMA Perimeter - Product & Cost, is to align HMMA plant and Americas Strategic Regions’ Total Delivery Cost (TdC) targets by models in each product milestones, and to manage lifecycle profitability of key models from HMMA.

Monitor performance after launch and make recommendation to maximize profit improve opportunities.

Serve as the Voice of Americas SR’s product teams and advise PDO leadership on all product performance matters and manufacturing plants to meet product planning and sales targets.

Major Responsibilities

Steer HMMA plant in each HMC product milestones to maximize profit and sales potential by having full understanding of HMC development capabilities.

Support intensive Cost Competitiveness Workshop for major post-SOP(Start of Production) models in HMMA by collaborating with relevant divisions to find profit improvement opportunities continuously.

Align Americas SR Performance with TdC Target and develop countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies.

Monitor monthly cost performance.

Expand PD Office practice to other regional HQs in Hyundai.

Product development / Price positioning / Sales cost / Material cost management.

Education

Must be a high school graduate

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

Six or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer / distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and / or sales).

Minimum of three years of supervisory experience desired.

Cross-functional team management experience is required.

Skills / Knowledge

Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.

Good organizational and Data mining skills.

Effective communication skills.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, persuasively make case for change leading to action.

Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for external and Senior Leadership interactions.

Strong automotive technology knowledge.

Certification N / A.

Compensation $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual
