Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
Description We are seeking an experienced and resourceful marketing leader to build and lead the marketing function for Qcells’ Grid & Energy Services (G&ES) business. This role will be responsible for executing go-to-market initiatives that drive engagement with utilities and enterprise customers—including data centers, commercial real estate, utilities and industrial energy users. The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and executional agility, with the ability to operate a lean marketing structure while delivering high‑impact results through agency and partner coordination.
This position will be based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities
Lead all marketing activities for the Grid & Energy Services division, including strategic planning, campaign execution, budget management, and brand positioning.
Plan and manage Qcells’ presence at key industry conferences, exhibitions, and events relevant to utilities and large‑scale energy customers.
Develop and host exclusive, executive‑level gatherings such as CEO Roundtables and curated leadership events to engage target stakeholders and identify new business opportunities.
Design and operate a G&ES Advisory Board to capture market feedback and guide early‑stage program development and solution refinement.
Create integrated lead generation strategies that support the expansion of Qcells' utility Off‑taker model and commercial pipeline.
Serve as the primary liaison to marketing and creative agencies, overseeing project management, quality control, and performance metrics.
Manage external communications and public relations related to G&ES, including earned media, thought leadership, and content syndication.
Oversee digital and social media strategy for the business unit, ensuring consistent messaging and effective audience targeting.
Partner with business development, strategy, and executive teams to align marketing execution with key initiatives and strategic goals.
Coordinate with corporate marketing group to design, develop and execute the corporate‑level marketing initiatives by representing G&ES business unit.
Required Qualifications
Marketing experience in Energy, Cloud services, Data Center, Real Estate Property Management or ESCO field will be only considered as a candidate.
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in clean energy, utilities, infrastructure, or enterprise technology sectors.
Demonstrated success running high‑level executive events and industry‑facing campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes.
Experience engaging C‑suite audiences and facilitating industry relationships to generate qualified business leads.
Proven ability to manage external agencies and deliver impactful work with lean internal resources.
Strong communication skills, including written content creation, executive messaging, and brand storytelling.
Familiarity with grid services, VPPs, DERs, and utility engagement models preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong visualization and presentation skills.
Strong written communication skills especially for PR activities.
Strong industry background which enables effective marketing plan & activities.
Background in management consulting or strategic investment roles highly valued.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
