Position Overview The Creative Marketing Director manages and executes all brand-facing creative marketing efforts for Moby Dick House of Kabob, developing and fulfilling all tasks related to contextual, visual, and strategic brand consistency across all print and digital channels. This role blends high-level creative strategy with hands‑on design execution and content creation, ensuring the Company’s branding, storytelling, and market presence reflect a cohesive and compelling identity.

The Creative Marketing Director maintains a focused scope on strategic creative and marketing leadership, hands‑on execution, and brand management. The Creative Marketing Director will develop goals and strategies as well as implement and execute all comprehensive marketing campaigns. The Creative Marketing Director works closely with third‑party vendors as necessary for digital campaign metrics and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of creative concepts that align with the Company’s vision and business growth goals.

Execution of all marketing campaigns and activities related to marketing and creative content.

Initiate research, development, and implementation of new marketing programs

Ensure all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.

Manage creative budgets for marketing campaigns, assets, and vendor partnerships.

Manage any vendor relationships as it relates to marketing initiatives and functions (social media, PR, web hosting, digital marketing, etc.) and be responsible for setting expectations and holding vendors accountable to fulfill their obligations.

Develop marketing plans within budget requirements. Work closely with CEO/COO to determine budget requirements related to ad buying or social media advertising.

Develop, manage, and execute an annual strategic marketing and communications plan to span across all communication media (print and digital) and reach appropriate target audiences, based upon specific performance goals.

Develop, execute, and oversee social media marketing strategy, content calendar, visual direction, and creative content. Assist in posting, account management, and engagement as needed.

Design marketing and branding assets for both print and digital media

Evaluate the success of various communication strategies and implement recommendations for improvement.

Develop, manage, and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for all communication vehicles.

Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline.

Develop, manage, and maintain all communication vehicles

Design and manage email campaigns using tools such as MailChimp or similar platforms. Execute the launch of email campaigns as required/necessary.

Create and post relevant social media posts to promote brand, information, and activities – and strive to increase followers on each channel. This would include, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Develop strategies to further online reach in social media to fuel lead generation and customer satisfaction.

Plan, capture, and produce content, including photography, video shoots, and basic editing. Execute the use of all produced videos, photos, etc. in all marketing campaigns.

Create simple motion graphics and animations to support digital marketing initiatives. Execute the use of graphics and animations in digital marketing campaigns.

Manage website design and maintain website content through the content management system. Direct website strategy and manage external web development resources for complex website development initiatives. Advise on SEO and AEO direction.

Supervise and mentor creative team members and manage external vendors to ensure high‑quality deliverables and brand consistency, if applicable.

Manage and execute all marketing direction, marketing partners management, and strategic marketing consulting within creative boundaries.

Manage, direct, and approve all marketing collateral for franchisees to ensure continuity and completeness of the Moby Dick brand.

Stay current with industry marketing and design trends, competitor branding, and emerging creative tools and techniques.

Provide marketing analytics/reports to CEO/COO to measure output of all marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Must be accessible for occasional (aka as‑needed) after‑hours needs due to the nature of the business (late‑operating food service locations).
