As a highly specialized RF De‑Sense Engineer, you will tackle the intricate challenges of electromagnetic interference in wireless consumer devices such as smartphones and wearables. Your role is pivotal in integrating advanced features and sensors into compact form factors, particularly optimizing wireless technologies like WiFi and Bluetooth. Your expertise will significantly enhance wireless performance and drive technological innovation in the realm of consumer electronics. Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive RF desense systems, managing tasks from architecture and design to validation, troubleshooting, and production, ensuring optimal wireless performance. Analyze product operations to identify potential noise sources and desense risks, contributing to product reliability and efficiency. Review product designs at various stages, including schematic, board layout, and mechanical structure, to ensure alignment with RF performance standards. Implement RF desense strategies using concepts like shielding, grounding, filtering, and isolation, leveraging both measurement and simulation data for precise debugging. Design and execute desense test methods and setups, conducting comprehensive validation exercises to uphold product quality. Propose corrective actions for identified desense issues and communicate validation results through well‑organized reports. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. 5+ years of relevant experience in RF design and wireless technologies. Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuit analysis. Proficiency in RF schematic and PCB layout best practices. Hands‑on experience with RF test equipment, such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, and Oscilloscope. Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools like Ansys HFSS or CST Microwave Studio. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF hardware or Electromagnetics. 3+ years of experience in desense development for consumer products or RF hardware/antenna design in wireless electronics. Familiarity with additional wireless technologies like Cellular, GPS, and expertise in using test call boxes for cellular testing. Experience with advanced noise mitigation techniques, including shielding, grounding, filtering, and isolation.
