Quality Inspector We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Inspector in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying completion of tasks, reviewing engineering drawings, and performing line inspections. This role requires collaboration with various teams, reporting metrics, and conducting root cause analysis for failures.

Responsibilities

Utilize different inspection techniques (e.g., visual, dimensional, paperwork) to complete inspections in accordance with engineering specifications, business requirements, and industry standards.

Verify completion of assigned tasks and adherence to work instructions and the Quality Management System (QMS).

Generate non-conforming reports detailing failures and measurements.

Process parts through the Material Review Board in accordance with established procedures while ensuring correct identification and traceability information are maintained.

Collaborate with Inventory/Shipping teams to address any missed parts.

Capture and report relevant metrics.

Maintain or execute established quality mechanisms (e.g., the calibration program).

Weekly reporting of metrics in team meetings.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for investigating failures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aerospace industry or high-volume industry experience (e.g., automotive or medical devices).

+2 years of experience as a quality inspector for structures or electronic components (not just functional testing).

Demonstrated ownership of goals and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience identifying root cause in failures.

Strong written and communication skillset.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $55.00 – $55.00/hr.
