A growing manufacturing team is seeking a detail‑oriented CMM Programmer to support quality assurance and precision measurement processes. This role involves programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and verify the dimensional accuracy of parts and components.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CMM programs using software such as PC‑DMIS, MCOSMOS, or Calypso.
Perform dimensional inspections on first‑piece, in‑process, and final parts.
Analyze measurement data and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and GD&T standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain and update inspection documentation and job instructions as needed.
Essential Skills
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
Proficiency in CMM programming and operation.
Solid understanding of GD&T and technical drawings.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $60,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year. 401(k) benefits. Weekly pay. Room for growth.
Workplace Type Fully onsite position in Chicago, IL.
