Job Title: ServiceNow Developer (Mid-Level) Location: Phoenix, AZ Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Industry: Financial Services
About the Role: We are seeking a mid-level ServiceNow Developer to join our client’s growing IT team in the Phoenix area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you will design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that support IT service management and operations across a large-scale enterprise. You’ll collaborate with senior developers and architects to implement best practices while gaining exposure to complex financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and business rules.
Support ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and other core ServiceNow modules.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
Perform routine administration, updates, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
Test and troubleshoot new and existing functionality, ensuring platform stability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and end-users to improve service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
Hands‑on experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
Familiarity with ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management) preferred.
Scripting experience with JavaScript, Glide, and ServiceNow APIs.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with ServiceNow functionality.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
