Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Major Gifts Officer located in New Orleans, LA. The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for managing relationships with major gift prospects, conducting prospect research, securing planned and annual giving, and collaborating with alumni relations to achieve fundraising goals. The officer will develop and implement strategies for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors.
Qualifications
Experience in Planned Giving and Annual Giving
Skills in Prospect Research and identifying potential donors
Knowledge of Philanthropy and fundraising best practices
Strong relationships with Alumni Relations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of securing major gifts and meeting fundraising targets
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Ability to work on-site in New Orleans, LA
