FIFA World Cup 2026 - Canada, Mexico and the United States Description The Regional Manager Accreditation Operations, Central, will be a key member of the FIFA26 Accreditation team, and work in a very diverse Accreditation department (consisting of team members from Greece, India, Italy, the US and Canada) and in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Accreditation department (consisting of team members from across the world including Swiss-German, German, Russian and Dutch backgrounds) responsible for delivering the FWC26 Accreditation operations. Lou Disabatino Responsibilities: The main responsibilities and oversights of the Regional Manager Accreditation Operations, Central for the FIFA World Cup 26 include: The Regional Manager Accreditation Operations, Central represents FIFA’s Accreditation interests in the Central regional cluster to oversee two or more host cities venue accreditation sites within that assigned region. Work as part of a dedicated team of Accreditation Operations Managers, Venue Accreditation Operations Managers and Site Accreditation staff, managing the appropriate ACR venue staff within the assigned regional cluster. Assist with the development and implementation of accreditation policies and procedures in order to set rules that establish boundaries, limits, zones or fully describe the operations and/or services. Help plan and assure delivery of fully equipped Accreditation Centers (overlay, technology, power, lighting, FF&E) as per established requirements and timelines. Assist in the development of requirements, tender, select and manage suppliers for Accreditation consumables according to FIFA26 Inc. standards and timelines. Coordinate with and support the Access Management Department with regard to accreditation access control, including access control system testing. Manage the accreditation consumable stock management for all accreditation facilities within assigned cluster of venues. During pre-event planning stage, travel within cluster to applicable venues as needed. During the tournament event window, position will require candidate to reside in an agreed-upon venue and be available to travel between venues, if needed. Role and responsibilities are not limited to tasks listed above and may change according to project demands. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. If experience is compensating, lower degree is welcome to apply. Football (soccer) accreditation knowledge is a plus. FIFA accreditation knowledge is a plus. Effective interpersonal communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Absolute attention to detail. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Good judgement, superb integrity, maturity, and fairness in dealing with people. Work Experience: 5 or more years of experience in accreditation operations. Single-sport, multi-venue event experience. Experience in leading a multi-cultural team as well as communicating within a multi-cultural organization. Experience in working across different time zones. Experience in and being comfortable with working in multi-lingual environments. Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish proficiency may be a plus. Technology: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Miro and other planning software and online collaboration tools. Proficient in 3D modelling applications is a plus. Experience with Accreditation Systems is a plus. About FWC2026 The FIFA World Cup 26 will mark the first time that the tournament features 48 teams and will be hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
