We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with demonstrated expertise in Senior Living, Multifamily, Hospitality, and Commercial Office projects. This is a leadership role within our firm — the successful candidate will head our Interior Design Department, guiding and mentoring two junior interior designers, while also serving as the primary client-facing representative of the firm. This position requires both strong design vision and the interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain lasting client relationships.

About the Role

Lead the Interior Design Department, managing and mentoring a team of junior designers.

Responsibilities

Serve as the face of the company for interior design clients, building and maintaining strong, positive relationships.

Lead projects from conceptual design through construction, including material selection, FF&E, and specification development.

Oversee the production and coordination of design presentations, construction drawings, and renderings.

Collaborate closely with firm leadership, architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure design excellence and project success.

Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (from an accredited institution).

Minimum 7–10 years of professional interior design experience, with a focus in Senior Living, Multifamily, Hospitality, or Commercial Office projects.

Proven ability to lead design teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion.

Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Current knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E).

Proficiency in Revit is required.

Experience with rendering tools such as Enscape or Lumion preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Strong design eye, attention to detail, and ability to clearly communicate design intent.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Revit.

Preferred Skills

Experience with rendering tools such as Enscape or Lumion.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
