What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Compile and analyze Encounter data to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved
Provide analytical support for Claims Encounters Regulatory Data projects
Review Encounter rejections and resolve data issues or process changes
Lead claims data processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Prepare and monitor management metrics and reports as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managed healthcare, claims, or a regulated environment
Minimum of five (5) years of experience using at least two of the following tools: SQL, SAS, SSIS, MySQL, ORACLE, R, or PowerBI
Strong database querying, data analysis, and trending skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s degree in Science/Arts with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics or Data Science
Edifecs knowledge
Experience with 837O and 835 files
Advanced knowledge of coding and billing processes, including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
