Financial Analyst Intern Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our growing Finance team. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Data Analytics, providing critical support for executive reporting, strategic planning, and financial analysis. You will have a hands-on opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a fast-growing SaaS company, helping us connect financial performance with the underlying business drivers captured in our data. This role is crucial for ensuring data integrity, automating key reports, and delivering actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

The Financial Analyst Intern will support the Finance Manager and the broader team by focusing on the following areas: FP&A Support:

Assist with the preparation of short-term financial projections, annual budgets, and long-range strategic plans. Reporting & Analysis:

Compile and maintain relevant historical financial and operational reports, performing variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) and providing commentary to help management understand results. Data Visualization:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Business Intelligence (BI) tools and capabilities, creating clear, impactful dashboards and data visualizations. Operational Metrics:

Help define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and SaaS metrics across departments like Go-to-Market, Customer Success, and Product. GTM Strategy & Planning:

Support the Go-to-Market teams with strategic planning initiatives, including modeling for quota planning and territory mapping to drive and optimize company growth objectives. Data Integrity:

Support initiatives related to data governance and the evolution of our financial and data systems, ensuring high standards for accuracy and security. Process Efficiency:

Look for opportunities to document and automate routine reporting and analysis processes to enhance team efficiency. Ad Hoc Projects:

Perform time-sensitive, ad hoc analysis as requested by the Finance team and cross-functional partners. Qualifications (What You'll Need)

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. Experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, common formulas) for data manipulation and modeling. Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy and integrity. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate numbers into a clear, compelling business narrative. A self-starter attitude; someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership, and is comfortable with a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Why Join Us?
