We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to join our senior leadership team. This key strategic role supports the delivery of safe, sustainable, and high‑performing estates and facilities services across the Trust, with a major focus on the £65 million capital redevelopment of Lynfield Mount Hospital – a transformational programme that will modernise inpatient mental‑health facilities, enhance therapeutic environments, and support the delivery of outstanding care for future generations.

Support strategic planning and operational delivery of the Trust’s estates and facilities services.
Lead on capital programmes, property management, and lifecycle planning – including redevelopment of Lynfield Mount Hospital.

Person Specification Experience
Substantial senior leadership experience in estates and facilities management within a large, complex organisation (ideally healthcare or public sector).
Proven track record of strategic estates planning, capital programme management and delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Experience of managing compliance with statutory, regulatory and health & safety standards.
Demonstrable experience of financial and resource management of multi‑million‑pound budgets.
Evidence of leading organisational change and service improvement.
Experience of working at Senior Leadership, Board or Executive level and influencing strategic decision‑making.
Experience of leading on sustainability and Net Zero Carbon strategies.
Experience in a mental health or community health care setting.
Qualifications
Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, IHEEM, CIBSE, IWFM).
