Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at BIDMC The General Medicine Department, Section of Nephrology at BIDMC is seeking a full-time Nephrologist – Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor for our Boston location. The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Nephrology program provides adult inpatient and outpatient services at the academic medical center in Boston, as well as community sites throughout the Boston region. The Nephrologist will provide inpatient, outpatient, and dialysis services at BIDMC Boston and in the greater Boston area. Additionally, the physician will train and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering their development in renal medicine. Engaging in medical staff quality improvement activities and contributing to care plan meetings are essential components of the position. Furthermore, the candidate will perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of HMFP and BIDMC.

Job Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine

A valid MA medical license or the ability to obtain one

Federal DEA and Mass Controlled Substance certificate

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Experience in renal medicine; proficiency in outpatient and inpatient medical care; knowledge of quality, safety, and infection control standards
