NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a
Geotechnical Project Engineer
to join our team in the
Kennesaw, GA
corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments.
Responsible for preparing project proposals, managing projects, and interfacing directly with clients
Perform soil and rock sampling, testing, and analysis.
Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations.
Design and analyze foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
Collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions.
Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications.
Utilize geotechnical software for modeling and analysis.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
2+ year of geotechnical engineering experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related) is required
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license is highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills and leadership ability
Availability and willingness to travel (primarily through out metro Atlanta and north Georgia)

We also have CCRL-inspected laboratories for concrete sampling, curing, and testing.
