Our bank client is seeking to fill a Sr . Bank Accountant role in the Melrose Park, IL area. The selected candidate will be responsible for The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial operations.
This position offers a competitive salary of up to $90K and a full benefits package.
(This is not a remote position)
Sr. Bank Accountant responsibilities include: Perform daily and monthly general ledger reconciliations and journal entries Maintain oversight of the bank’s general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance Prepare and analyze financial statements, board reports, and regulatory Call Reports Assist with internal and external audit oversight, ensuring documentation and controls are maintained Support budgeting, forecasting, financial, and strategic planning processes Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data accuracy and timely reporting Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls Who Are You?
