POSITION OBJECTIVE Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations will plan, coordinate, and attend recruitment related events, recruit candidates, conduct admissions interviews, review applications, make independent decision for applicants that do not meet the admissions requirements and applicants to be waitlisted, and recommend applicants for admission. In addition, the recruitment manager will develop and implement recruitment, marketing, and communication plans across graduate management programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Marketing and Communication: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute joint marketing campaigns that promote graduate programs through partner channels. Create compelling content and promotional materials that highlight the benefits of the graduate programs and the value of partnerships to academic institutions, organizations and prospective students. Write, edit and update email and text communications to increase conversion rates throughout the enrollment funnel. Develop communications in various formats including, but not limited to, email, letters, print publications, postcards and texts. Develop and implement lead nurture campaigns across programs and ensure all communications through SLATE are appropriate for all audiences. Partner with both UMC and Utech to ensure best practices. Design and implement appropriate and effective marketing strategies to drive event attendance, attract and keep inquiries and prospects engaged, enhance, and increase the number of created applications, and increase and retain admitted and deposited students. Analyze and measure success of communication channels and methods to improve effectiveness of communications throughout the application and onboarding process. (30%) System Administration and Data Integration: Administer all aspects of the school of management Slate system, including its integration with other campus systems. Maintain accurate migration of admissions data from Slate to the centralized institutional Student Information System (SIS) and ensure accurate and timely import of all admission and financial aid data from SIS to Slate. Establish testing protocols and systems of checks and balances on behalf of the school of management. Maintain the integrity of data imported into and exported from Slate. Create resources and documentation for Slate user training and processes; troubleshoot Slate technical issues as they arise. In collaboration with the Slate systems administrator at the enterprise level, build and manage the annual calendar as a resource for cycle prep and planning. (30%) Recruitment and Events: Plan and coordinate recruitment events (information sessions, open houses, on-campus recruitment events, applicant interviews, fairs, and yield events) to inform inquiries, applicants, prospective students of program offerings. Solicit student, faculty, and program director involvement. Represent the Weatherhead School of Management at local and national recruitment fairs and events during recruiting season. Develop and implement standards to deliver world class recruiting events. Generate new leads each month during pre-recruiting season. Seek opportunities to build pipeline with professional associations. Take a proactive step with inquiries to generate completed applications. Develop expert knowledge of all Weatherhead School of Management programs to provide admissions advice to prospective students. Coordinate all prospective and admitted student visit requests from information sessions, workshops, meetings, and various admission related events; including make logistical arrangements for parking, food, and notification by print or electronic media. Collaborate with Senior Admissions Leadership Team to develop and enhance lead generation and nurture strategies. Communicate consistently with candidates through their enrollment journey. Escalate partnership candidates to internal stakeholders such as program directors, faculty, alumni and current students. Recruitment related travel to conduct business with partners and other general admissions events. (20%) Admissions Evaluations: Conduct admissions interviews for assigned programs. Provide an assessment of applicant¿s likelihood of success in the candidate¿s indicated area of academic interest. Evaluate student qualifications and make decisions on the admissibility of applicants. Partner with faculty and staff to ensure consensus on admissible candidates. (10%) System Optimization and Enhancement: Keep current on newly released Slate features and tools, assess unused resources, and recommend strategic projects utilizing feature enhancements. Use cost-benefit analysis to identify and prioritize work and recommendations. Design creation, update, and maintenance of Slate-hosted applications, portals, and forms to support strategic initiatives, including annual cycle prep and improvements and marketing initiatives. (10%)

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Compile, coordinate and disseminate annual event calendar to internal and external partners. ( CONTACTS Department: Continuous contact with all Weatherhead faculty and staff for the purpose of recruiting students. University: Regular contact with Case Western Reserve University admissions, IT, purchasing, security, and facilities personnel among others for recruiting efforts. External: Continuous contact with prospective students, alumni, friends of Weatherhead and outside vendors for recruiting efforts. Students: Continuous contact with Weatherhead students and occasional contact with students from other schools within the university for the purpose of recruiting students. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY Supervise student ambassadors and volunteers during event execution. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful and progressive recruiting and/or sales experience. Experience utilizing various forms of marketing and communication, including social media, as well as program and budget management is highly desirable. Education: Bachelor¿s degree in business, communications, marketing, human resources or related field required; Master¿s degree preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS Events management experience for groups of 20 to 300 people (including working with vendors and contracts) Experience managing full-cycle projects, and meeting budgets projections and revenue goals. Demonstrated history of responsibility for and success at meeting goals Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Superior oral and written communications skills, including excellent presentation skills Ability to engage with a variety of constituents (prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, etc.) from many different cultural backgrounds Superior organizational skills; ability to manage micro and macro objectives and ability to execute multiple objectives concurrently Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external business partners. Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends and to travel both domestically and internationally Creative and attentive to details is a must Proficiency with MS office and managing databases required Demonstrated history of successful support, education, and advocacy for all students, aligned with the values, mission, and messaging of the university, while adhering to the staff policy on conflict of commitment and interest. Ability to meet consistent attendance. Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face-to-face.

WORKING CONDITIONS General office working environment. Evening and weekend work required. Extensive domestic and international travel required.
