Compensation & Leadership Opportunities Urgent Care Staff Physician with the Opportunity for Leadership in Chino, CA

A 1099 model starting at $150/hr, with a $50,000 sign‑on bonus for a three‑year term. Medical Directorship opportunities are also available in which physicians have more responsibility and may earn an additional $60,000 annually.

Qualifications

Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine – Board‑Eligible (Recent graduates from a formal Residency Program) or Board‑Certified

Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve‑hour (12) shifts with a 1‑hour break

Full‑time will be 12 shifts per month and 2 on‑call shifts per month

Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low acuity setting

Patients are treated for colds/coughs/congestion, UTIs, lumps, bumps, and bruises

Bread & Butter Procedures: I&D of Abscesses, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair

Equipment: In‑house Point‑of‑Care testing and X‑ray. All X‑rays are over‑read by a Board‑Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders

Easy‑to‑use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients across all ages, performing common acute procedures in a low‑acuity setting.

Manage patient flow to maintain a target of 4 patients per hour, ensuring timely evaluation and treatment.

Utilize in‑house point‑of‑care testing and X‑ray services, reviewing results and coordinating care as needed.

Document all patient encounters accurately in the VelociDoc EMR system, leveraging Dragon dictation to enhance efficiency.

Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Serve as a healthcare leader, participating in medical directorship roles to improve clinical operations across multiple facilities.
