Indiana Wesleyan University and the DeVoe Division of Business is seeking applications from qualified individuals to apply for the position of full‑time Business faculty. Successful candidates will show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, comfort with the Wesleyan perspective, and a commitment to liberal learning as well as a fully integrated life of faith and work, embracing God’s purpose individually and collaboratively. The ideal candidate should show evidence of personal faith in Jesus Christ, full agreement with the Wesleyan‑Arminian theology, and commitment to liberal arts learning and the integration of Christian faith and learning.

The DeVoe Division of Business is a Christ‑centered academic community that provides students the opportunity for personal, professional and spiritual development in preparation for a life of service, applying sound business principles with wisdom and creativity. The vision of the DeVoe Division of Business is to prepare business professionals who are resilient and committed to meeting the needs of others in a Christ‑like manner.

Start date: Spring 2026 or Fall 2026, pending funding.

Duties and Responsibilities

Engage in teaching

Engage in advising and mentoring undergraduate students on the residential Marion, Indiana campus

Participate in university and divisional committee work and assessment of academic programs

Participate in curricular development

Qualifications

Education: Graduate degree in Business or related field such as Economics, Finance, or Marketing required; terminal degree preferred.

Experience: Practical experience in business, economics, finance, or marketing profession(s); teaching experience at the collegiate level highly desirable; preference for candidates with administrative experience.

Required Skills: Applicants should demonstrate the ability to combine engaging teaching with scholarly endeavors.
