The successful candidate will support automation projects through design, programming, assembly, installation, and support at Berry Plastics Corporation. They should have a strong background in automation and hands-on mechanical experience. The role may include project management responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Building and programming new and rebuilt equipment Following mechanical and electrical prints Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment Ensuring adherence to company, industry, and regulatory procedures Participating in post-project reviews Maintaining safety, environmental, and health standards Qualifications
Required qualifications: Two-year degree in automation, manufacturing, or equivalent hands-on control experience Experience in PLC logic, programming, and HMI development Knowledge of AC drives setup and communication (preferred) Mechanical aptitude Willingness to learn new technologies Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills for multitasking Additional Skills
