Title: Senior Administrative Assistant Division: Provost's Office Department: Kinney College of Nursing & Health Professions FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: Grade 5: $13.63/hour EEO Job Group: 5 E6 Position Summary Provide administrative support for the Food and Nutrition Program and the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Food and Nutrition program chair and faculty, including credit card use and reconciliation and purchasing through the university procurement system.
- Collect and collate program accreditation documents and curriculum documents.
- Provide instructional support for program faculty.
- Establish and maintain student files and databases to facilitate student selection and orientation.
- Provide support for program selection processes.
- Maintain and track health documentation for practicum students.
- Assist in development, maintenance, and improvement of the student information system by establishing files on new students; entering in database programs; updating statistics; preparing current lists, mailing labels, and sheets of statistical data from the file for reports.
- Coordinate inventory of program supplies, materials, resources, and classroom equipment. Order new supplies and equipment, and place in inventory.
- Respond to written and oral queries about the program.
- Assist in budget development and implementation.
- Contribute to the update of student and faculty handbooks.
- Coordinate course scheduling, section changes, room scheduling, and book orders.
- Help maintain program and course websites.
- Assist in program evaluation as needed.
- Manage off-campus food and supply, and product acquisition duties as needed for program(s) and FNSO.
- Coordinate clinical education agreements for hospitals, clinics, physicians, and healthcare professionals for the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets and databases required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

- Strong problem solving abilities required.

- College coursework preferred.
- Knowledge of Banner a plus.
- Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours may be adjusted based on program or center coverage needs.
