Hunter Hamilton is seeking an experienced Regional Finance Coordinator to join a leading organization in Omaha. This direct hire position is ideal for someone with a strong financial background and a passion for process improvement, accuracy, and collaboration.
In this role, you'll serve as a vital bridge between project management and finance-ensuring that projects are set up, billed, and maintained in full compliance with client and internal standards.
Pay Rate: $29.00 - $33.00/hr (Based on experience)
Responsibilities
Register and review new projects for accuracy and compliance
Support project setup, closeout, and budget tracking
Monitor and document change orders; identify potential risks or compliance issues
Maintain well-organized financial records and uphold QA standards
Manage billing schedules and initiate invoicing per contract terms
Prepare and finalize billing packages; resolve WIP and billing discrepancies
Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone and email; ensure timely collections
Collaborate with project and finance teams to resolve AR issues
Build and maintain strong client relationships while enforcing payment timelines
Create/approve purchase requisitions, process vendor invoices
Support supplier onboarding and maintain purchasing documentation
Reconcile office credit cards and manage per diem/cash advance requests
What You'll Bring
Associate's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years without a degree
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving and follow-up skills
Experience with project-based billing or professional services is a plus
