Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? Staffmark is seeking a reliable Inventory Associate for a growing facility in Pierceton, IN. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting multiple departments by accurately managing inventory, maintaining organization across storage areas, and following best practices to ensure smooth operations.
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
Pull inventory for deliveries and process orders using Transfer Orders (T.O.'s)
Ensure timely and accurate picking and stocking of materials
Organize and stage inventory neatly on labeled shelves and designated areas
Use scanners and SAP systems to track, move, and locate inventory accurately
Perform inventory-related tasks for special projects including cycle counts, germ testing samples, quality checks, and discards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of coolers and stock areas
Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements & Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems preferred
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use a stepladder, and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, squatting, reaching) throughout the shift
Comfortable working in cold environments (approx. 40F for up to 30 minutes at a time)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
