Staffmark is hiring an Electrical Technician for a direct hire opportunity with Toshiba in Houston, TX. If you're experienced with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and PLC/NC controls, this is your chance to join a leading team supporting advanced automated manufacturing equipment.

Position Details:

Pay: $30 - $32 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in a similar electrical maintenance or technician role

Proficient with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and operator interface terminals

Ability to read electrical schematics and use Microsoft Office

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic systems, including PLCs, NC machines, and robotics

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per established procedures

Diagnose and resolve issues using schematics, technical manuals, and ladder diagrams

Work with controls such as Mazak, Fanuc, Toshiba, and Mitsubishi

Handle machine voltages up to 480V and perform component-level circuit board repairs

Replace electrical components (servomotors, drives, sensors, switches, breakers, fuses, etc.)

Navigate control systems to adjust programs, parameters, or registers as needed

Accurately document diagnostics and repair activities
