Job Summary
Works within the membership department at the Division of Public Service to provide customer service to public radio members. Enters new and relevant data including checks and credit cards into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with the intent of tracking donor information. Answers phones, sends email and texts to members for the purposes of stewarding donor relationships.
Essential Functions
45% - Performs tasks related to customer service operations, including handling phone inquiries, email correspondence, and the preparation of written communications.
40% - Oversees CRM data management, ensuring accurate entry of checks and credit card contributions into member accounts, monitoring donor activity, updating member information, and retrieving data for reporting purposes.
15% - Collaborates with the team to support the execution of mailings, text messaging campaigns, and email communications.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and one year of clerical, administrative office support or related experience.
OR
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Desired Qualifications
A. Two (2) or more years experience in customer service skills demonstrated by working in a non-profit environment B. Experience utilizing a customer database system for the purposes of tracking donor/client activity C. One (1) year working in accounts receivable activities generating and reconciling accounts
Special Working Conditions
Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate's own expense. Will be required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations. May require numerous evenings or weekends. May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen. May be required to lift or carry up to #25 lbs. Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving:
