In this key role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and pulmonary angiographic procedures. This will include operating digital cine radiographic equipment, as well as providing hemodynamic monitoring and scrub assistance on diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist with digital cine acquisition. Perform digital analysis of LV wall motion, coronary artery sizing and stenosis. Perform panning, collimation and filtering. You will rotate within Interventional Cardiology to include Pediatric Cath, Adult Cath, Peripheral Vascular and Electrophysiology. The position Includes on-call responsibilities with the expectation of a 30 minute response time.

*May be required to float to other UCLA Cath Lab locations including Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica & West Valley Medical Center locations* Salary Range: $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly

Qualifications

ARRT license - required

CRT license - required

CRT Fluoro permit - required

BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required

At least 6 months in a Cath Lab, IR suite or similar settings - strongly preferred

At least 1 year procedural experience - preferred

ARRT CI (Cardiac-Interventional) certification - strongly preferred

ARRT VI (Vascular-Interventional Radiography) certification - strongly preferred

STEMI experience - strongly preferred

Must be able to move over 35lbs. and wear up to 25lbs. of lead apron

Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations
