Staffmark is hiring a Drill Pipe Inspector Assistant in New Boston, TX! If you're looking to build hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, this entry-level opportunity is a great place to start.

Pay: $14/hour

Schedule: 7 days/week (must be available for a flexible work schedule)

In this role, you'll assist in the inspection, cleaning, and preparation of drill pipe and production tubing. Your work helps prevent downhole issues and improves drilling efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Inspect drill pipe and tubing using magnetic inspection equipment

Buff, grind, and clean pipe surfaces to correct any defects

Roll pipes to allow for complete joint inspection

Assist in identifying and documenting pipe damage

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications:

Entry-level position - no prior experience required, but mechanical aptitude is a plus

Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

Willingness to work outdoors and in a 7-day work environment

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
