Position description
The Keck research group in the Department of Earth System Science (ESS) at University of California, Irvine seeks to hire a full time (100%) Researcher. The successful candidate will be expected to independently develop and lead new research, while complementing existing expertise in ESS, write proposals, lead publication of the results in peer-reviewed literature and summarize/present findings at scientific conferences and in public lectures to a broad audience. Expertise in elemental analysis, light stable isotope mass spectrometry, accelerator mass spectrometry, and trace gas techniques is required. Experience advising postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students is required.
Salary will be based on qualifications and level of experience.
