Are you an experienced leader ready to take the next step in your career? Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Lead to join a growing team in Kansas City, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful company in a climate-controlled, clean, and welcoming environment.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Schedule varies; must be available to work up to 12 hours/day. Start time will shift to 3:00 PM beginning in December.)
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse operations and drive outbound floor management.
Lead and train a team of up to 50 warehouse associates.
Coordinate order fulfillment and collaborate with supervisors and other departments.
Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety and efficiency.
Schedule and receive incoming shipments; manage internal appointments.
Communicate updates with customers regarding deliveries and disruptions.
Monitor and report on workforce productivity and quality performance.
Requirements:
Previous leadership experience in a warehouse environment is required.
Must be comfortable leading a team of up to 50 employees.
Ability to walk up to 8 miles per day and lift up to 30 lbs.
Experience with picking and handling over-the-counter medical supplies is a plus.
