Senior Structural Engineer - Full-Time (Remote)
Position Overview
This firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Structural Engineer
to lead the design and analysis of structural systems for a diverse range of commercial facilities. This is a
fully remote position , offering flexibility while working on impactful projects across the U.S.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of structural systems using steel, reinforced concrete, heavy timber, and masonry. Provide expert consulting services to architects, contractors, and building owners. Review and guide junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.). Utilize structural analysis and modeling software to develop efficient and safe designs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis (Master's preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of
8 years of professional experience
in structural engineering. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, RAM, RISA, and other structural analysis tools. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience working remotely and managing projects independently is a plus.
