Laboratory Coordinator

Temp Duration - 6 Months Location - Irvine, CA 92606 Max Pay - $25.10 W2

Summary:

The main function of a lab coordinator is to receive and log laboratory test samples. The lab coordinator may also perform media preparation, accurately measuring and dispensing, in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records

Responsibilities: * Receive and log test samples * Clean and prepare lab glassware and supplies * Assist in preparing test supplies * Operate and clean supporting equipment (e.g autoclaves, dishwashers, etc.) * Assist in maintaining laboratory paperwork * Verify and change temperature charts on lab equipment on a routine basis * Enter test results into MS Excel to create trend charts * Distribute cleaning logs to appropriate manufacturing areas

Additional Skills:

* Basic computer skills, required * Basic ability to read and comprehend English, required * Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills * Basic knowledge of laboratory processes * Basic knowledge in mathematics, e.g., decimals and percentage * Knowledge of and adherence to company Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing * Strict attention to detail * Ability to work with own team environment

Education and Experience: * Secondary Education or equivalent * 0-2 years of experience required
