Engineering GIS Technician
to work in our
Kansas City, MO
office.
Role Overview:
Perform engineering planning tasks of considerable technical difficulty through analyzing & coordinating facility relocations and adjustments. Responsible for daily coordination of external and internal groups to ensure protection of Segra assets during various construction activities. Plays a key strategic role in coordinating OSP team leads to ensure company coordination is efficient, correct, and on schedule. Responsible for ensuring tasks are completed on time, tracking progress and efficiently using all available resources.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of technical GIS planning experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with ArcGIS Pro (Esri)
Bachelor's Degree preferred; or a combined 5 years of education and related experience.
2 years of Engineering/GIS/planning experience. Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its practices/standards pertaining to fiber construction.
Proficient with MS Office product suites, ESRI GIS.
Must have advanced skills in ESRI GIS, analyzing plan sets, applying engineering principles, project coordination.
Must be able to review project plan sets, conduct meetings and coordinate with external/internal groups.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Salary Range:
$22.30 - $27.90/hour
