The COhatch Columbus Market is hiring! We are looking to hire a Community Manager for our Polaris location!
About the role The Community Manager is responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for members and visitors to create a strong sense of authentic community. This person is responsible for running the daily operations of a COhatch location. The Community Manager will be tasked with developing and implementing outreach strategies, creating and implementing engaging member events, coordinating and hosting meetings and events, managing non-profit and start-up scholarships, and maintaining a strong presence in the community while building relationships to foster member growth. We view you as the OWNER and CONNECTOR of this location and community. You will manage, run, and be responsible for the growth of your location.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily Operations Open and close the site according to procedures. Order, stock, and maintain supplies as needed. Ensure a welcoming community vibe and maintain facility cleanliness and orderliness. Frequently check in with members to foster connections. Maintain daily cleaning and organization checklists. Ensure all facilities and assets remain in good working order.
Front Desk & Member Support Answer phones, voicemails, and email inquiries promptly and professionally. Welcome members and visitors warmly, providing assistance as needed. Handle mail distribution and support members with office services and amenities.
New Member Onboarding Educate visitors on the WORK-MEET-LIVE experience and convert leads to members. Own the new member onboarding process for a smooth transition. Manage member invoices, payments, and overall customer experience.
Corporate Meeting & Events Support Greet and direct attendees for offsite meetings and events. Assist with catering setup, cleanup, and ensure AV equipment is functional. Provide excellent hospitality throughout events, including beverage service and space reset.
Local Marketing & Community Building Be active in local communities to build strong connections. Partner with influential individuals as ambassadors to bring people in through community partnerships. Collaborate with local groups hosting events that activate our space and attract visitors. Provide amazing hospitality and customer service that encourages members to share COhatch with friends and family. Be fully present at or host community events such as Farmers Markets and nonprofit showcases, both inside and outside COhatch.
Lead Management Promptly respond to all new leads using phone, email, and text, with a goal of same-day follow-up. Collaborate with team members to support timely follow-up, especially on high-priority leads.
A minimum of 2 years of hospitality or event management is preferred but not required. Established Columbus, OH relationships and network preferred.
Work Schedule Full-time in person at a COhatch Polaris -
1554 Polaris Pkwy #325, Columbus, OH 43240 Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Occasional weekends and evenings for Community Events.
Compensation Salary based on experience, salary + bonus structure. Health benefits, 401K match, PTO, paid holidays, and discounted vacation home access.
