BS in Bioengineering, Biotechnology or other related field with 3+ years of experience or MS degree in above listed or related field.
Proven experience operating and programming automated liquid handling platforms (Hamilton, Agilent Technologies) and complex laboratory systems.
Command of common functional and immunoassays ELISA, flow cytometry, cell-based potency (Luciferase), internalization, and related techniques.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse internal and external stakeholders spanning scientific, engineering, and operational domains.
Position Description: Lab Automation Engineer
Seeking a Lab Automation Engineer to drive our innovation in laboratory process automation. In this dynamic role, you'll transform manual operations and ensure high-quality instrument functionality aligned with manufacturer standards. You'll contribute to every phase of assay automation and instrument integrationconcept development, requirements definition, protocol optimization, troubleshooting, and end-to-end validation.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the conceptualization, definition, and implementation of new protocols for Hamilton Liquid Handlers, supporting robust high-throughput assay workflows. Implement and refine laboratory instrument software to enable scalable, efficient high throughput sample processing. Provide strategic and tactical guidance, partnering with external vendors to develop cutting-edge, integrated automation solutions. Evaluate, pilot, and deploy new technology capabilities to continuously advance our laboratory operations. Management of automation-enabling consumable inventories.
Qualifications:
