Staffmark is hiring a Staff Accountant for a global offshore engineering company located in Broussard, LA. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and ready to advance your accounting career, this is a great opportunity to join a respected, innovative organization serving the energy industry.

Pay:

$65,000-$75,000 annually

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Assist with balance sheets, income statements, and month-end closings

Support payroll review, expense audits, and reporting

Maintain accurate financial records and support GAAP compliance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
