Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Counsel with a strong background in real estate litigation to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling complex real estate disputes, as well as the ability to provide strategic counsel on transactional and property-related matters. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the firms growth through business development initiatives.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in real estate litigation, including commercial and residential disputes, landlord-tenant matters, and title or boundary issues. Provide legal advice and risk assessment on property acquisitions, leasing, and development projects. Draft and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, and related documents. Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Develop and maintain client relationships and actively participate in business development efforts. Collaborate with partners and associates across practice areas to support client objectives.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing. 8+ years of real estate law experience, including substantial litigation exposure. Proven ability to manage cases independently and handle client communications effectively. Strong writing, analytical, and negotiation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to engage in business development. Based in San Diego or the Inland Empire region (not Los Angeles).
