Budget Analyst
for B&A AvMC, supporting the Army Division.

Required Qualifications / Skills
Must possess or be able to obtain an active DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
Bachelor's Degree
3-10 years of relevant work experience required
GFEBS (Highly Preferred)
Responsibilities
Review funding documents (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPRs) and Procurement Work Directives (1095s) for accuracy in accordance with applicable internal control laws, Army guidelines and audit procedures.
Process and forward MIPRs/1095 and related forms to Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Center Staff in required format for acceptance of reimbursable, direct charge and direct cite documents.
Work under the Lead Budget Analyst to research Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) on reimbursable and direct cite funds in Shared Data Warehouse (SDW), GFEBS, and AICIS to assist in the de‑obligation and return of funds to customer.
Work under the Lead Budget Analyst to prepare and enter data into the Financial Integrated Reporting Environment (FIRE) Budget Tool.Process outbound MIPRs in accordance with AvMC guidance.
Effectively utilize AICIS, GFEBS, LMP, ATAAPS, and DTS to research funding inconsistencies, detailed analysis, and other issues.
Serve as a timekeeper in ATAAPS to assist with setting up WBS and managing funds used for payroll.
Work closely with internal and external customers providing financial guidance and policy information.
Provide reports to assigned divisions on the status of respective funds and any potential issues.
Responsible for the management of executing to include records management IAW DoD 7000.14-R and close out of all funds within assigned divisions within Army Audit Compliance.
May participate in and assist with AvMC requests for information from Command and/or higher headquarters using excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint charts.
Maintain good working relationships.
Recognize and analyze problems, conduct research and summarize results to management.
